Autism Expo 2007

Autism Expo 2007

The idea to create Autism Awareness originated when Nicole was returning from an overseas conference. Having seen the excellent free information and support that was accessible in the USA, Nicole decided that it was time to bring a similar concept to Australia. The first Autism Expo 2007 was the first event put together by Autism Awareness. The Expo was held at Sydney’s Macquarie University. This was organised in just eight weeks and included a series of presentations and an exhibition hall of service organisations.. The was free event for the ASD community, bringing together services providers, professionals educational material, support services and families.
