Darwin Autism Info Day – 27 August 2011

Through the support of Aussie Helpers Children’s Fund, we are continuing our free regional Autism Info Days in 2011! We presented our first event this year in Darwin on Saturday 27 August 2011. The program gave practical and essential information to parents, carers and professionals living and working with children on the autism spectrum.

Our panel of industry experts, experienced parents and published authors presented a free one day seminar covering topics such as; What is Autism – The Early Warning Signs, funding entitlements, early intervention options and behaviour management strategies.

Following the success of our Darwin event we are heading to Launceston on Saturday 19 November to provide help and support to the community in Tasmania. Registration and details will be available soon!

Feedback from 2010 Autism Info Days
“I would like to extend our thanks and gratitude for the seminar which we attended on Saturday.  None of us can believe that you would put on such a professional event free of charge.  We all had a great time and came home with a wealth of information.  It was great to go to such an event that was filled with facts, fun and such positive attitudes.”  Maree

“We attended your Autism Info Day seminar today and just wanted to say how fantastic it was. Thank you for putting together a wonderful program and for your practical and often funny take on Autism Spectrum Disorder.  You have given my husband and I an incredible kick start to our autism journey.” Angela
