Free Webinar | AUT to Know: Home truths: SDA, SIL and the realities of housing for autistic adults

Thursday 19 June, 11:00am AEST

Housing. Support. The NDIS. It’s a tangled mess of acronyms, promises and paperwork and it can feel impossible to know where to start, what’s relevant, and who to trust.

This free webinar is for parents and carers of autistic adults who are navigating (or planning for) Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) or Supported Independent Living (SIL). Whether you’re still unsure what those terms really mean, or you’ve been chasing housing solutions for years, this session is designed to demystify the process.

Hosted by Nicole Rogerson, CEO of Autism Awareness Australia, and featuring Brent Woolgar, one of the country’s leading SDA experts, we’ll unpack eligibility, design categories, funding myths, and critically, how to tell if your child actually needs SIL or if another option would better suit.

Join us 11am on Thursday 19th June for this practical conversation designed to help you cut through the jargon and make confident decisions.

Registration is free, but places are limited.
