‘Get your members out’ campaign

‘Get your members out’ campaign

Autism Awareness Australia was proud to hold a special premiere screening of our short documentary film, “What are you doing?”, at Parliament House in Canberra on Tuesday 28th February 2012.

We invited all of Australia’s sitting MP’s and Senators to the screening in the Parliament House Theatrette – and called on our supporters to join the campaign and help us ‘get your members out’.

The autism community across the nation contacted their local Senators and members of parliament, urging them to come along to this important and educational film screening.

The event was a huge success! We are pleased to say that the Senators and MP’s were all very moved by the film and felt it was a great way to explain autism to school aged children and even to a few adults.

Now it’s time to get this film distributed and we are working hard to ensure that happens asap!
