Website translations now available in 104 languages

August 19, 2025

Autism Awareness Australia has become one of the first organisations in the country to offer full, site-wide translation in more than 104 languages.

Every page, button, and resource on the AAA website can now be instantly translated into the language chosen by the user. For families from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, this important step forward ensures that vital autism information is clear, accessible, and easy to share.

“Access to trustworthy autism information should never depend on English fluency,” said Nicole Rogerson, CEO of Autism Awareness Australia. “By providing resources in over a hundred languages, we are ensuring that every family, irrespective of their background, has the opportunity to learn, connect and feel supported.”

Why translation matters

For many families, the journey to understanding autism starts with questions. How do I support my child at school? What services are available? Where can I find reliable information? For parents and carers who speak a language other than English at home, those questions have often been harder to answer.

With translation now available in Arabic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Hindi, Punjabi, Greek, Spanish, Dari, Tagalog, Turkish, and many more, families can explore resources in the language that feels most comfortable. This makes it easier to:

  • understand early signs of autism
  • learn about school and community supports
  • navigate services like the NDIS
  • share reliable, evidence-based resources across families and networks

A first for autism inclusion in Australia

Autism Awareness Australia is proud to be leading the way with this innovation. While automatic translation is common on large global platforms, AAA is one of the first autism organisations in Australia to make its entire site available this way.

This reflects AAA’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, evidence-based information, and supporting families from every background at every stage of the autism journey.
